Electronic structure, exciton fine structure, photoluminescence, spin relaxation, electron-phonon interaction, charge transfer and luminescence dynamics in perovskite nanocrystals. Nanophotonics, plasmonics, transport, devices, photodetection

Experimental means / theoretical tools :

  • Synthesis of nanocrystals in solution
  • Optical studies : Characterization by spectroscopy and ellipsometry, optical modeling. Micro-luminescence of nanocrystals, time-resolved photoluminescence. Study of emission polarization. Magnetoluminescence.
  • Calculation of band structures and of the excitonic fine structure within using the formalism of the effective mass
  • Pump-probe experiments (fs-ps) : Faraday rotation. Spin coherence and relaxation
  • Transport and photo-transport in perovskite nanocrystals films
  • Devices : Field effect transistors based on perovskite films and nanocrystals. Absorption properties and light management in photovoltaic cells.
